Our regular meetings in Croydon normally take place on the second Saturday evening of each month. Our September meeting is on 11 September; our October meeting will be on 9 October.
Our regular venue is The Windmill, 224 St James’s Rd, Croydon CR0 2BW. Its an unfussy community local with a menu of Indian food and a beer garden. You’ll normally find us from around 7:30pm on the raised platform opposite the bar.
We welcome all trans adults, however you identify. Our meetings are informal – no talks or events, but a chance to catch up with old friends and new over perhaps a drink or a curry.
COVID-19: The Virus is still out there, and not all of us have been fully vaccinated. So we’re keen that if possible people get tested before they come to the pub. You can order a free test kit or arrange a test at a local test site via the NHS.
Please do not attend if you have the main symptoms of coronavirus. These include a high temperature, a new or continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste.
Code of conduct
TransPALS is committed to providing a safe space for everyone – and we do not tolerate harassment of participants. This includes unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention. If you are looking for personal encounters please go somewhere else.
What to wear?
The venue is an ordinary community pub. Please dress accordingly.
The pub is a short walk from East Croydon station, and within walking distance or a short bus journey from West Croydon. There’s also free parking facilities.
